Wat Tham Khoa Wong, Uthai Thani, Thailand
Wat Tham Khao Wong is located on Tambon Baan Rai, Utai Thani province and far12 kilometers from the district. This Dharma retreat on the hill is a four storey building and made of teak wood, Makha wood and the woods that were donated from old wooden houses in Thailand. Within the building, there are pavilions, viharn, kuti, a belfry and even a church together. From the outside, tourists might see only a huge wooden house surrounded by a towering limestone like some luxurious resort. In fact, this place is where most Buddhists come to learn Dharma, do a meditation, pray and respect the Buddha images. There is also a pond decorated with rock gardens and ornamental plants which costs more than 30 million baths in total for the construction.
