           Malika R.E.124 is the new tourist attraction in Kanchaburi province, the one and only city of culture and lifestyles in Thailand and the world. The retro-city during the reign of King Chulalongkorn, Rama V has been constructed because that was the renovation era of Siam which every changing had affected the people’s life at that time. For example, the abolition of slavery and the influence from western in Siam led to the combination of cultures. It was defined as the golden era of civilization.


The entrance of Malika R.E.124 

           Malika Town, the Siamese Living Heritage Town during the reign of Rama V, consists of the downtown that shows the civilization, the incredible foods, the uncommon equipments, and the ancient architecture at that time. One of the interesting point is tourists must exchange Thai Baht currency to Satang for using in Malika. Moreover, everyone has to dress up in traditional Thai dress and continue the routine like the past. In addition, tourists also can enjoy by dressing up like the local.

 
The Retro-Atmosphere

           In Malika R.E.124, there are 4 types of Thai houses. Each of them obviously reflects the different status of people. Started with a single house, the house for an ordinary people likes a farmer or a working class that tourists can truly learn about a folk wisdom. Next is a baron house for a ruling class. The activities for this house are about craft. All the exquisite of Thai cuisine at that time, the household for a group, or the house for a visitor show the artistic part of Thai. They all are one of the highlights because here is the biggest household for a group in Thailand.

 
The Gorgeous Architecture

           For the ticket price, an adult fee is 150 baht/person and a child fee is 75 baht/person. Anyway, if a visitor would like to get a traditional Thai cuisine for dinner while watching an amazing show from Malika R.E.124, the cost will be 550 baht for an adult and 350 baht for a child.
