7 Best Photo Spots of Petronas Twin Towers, Malaysia

           Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world with 451.9 metres height of 88 floors, is one of Malaysia's landmarks. By using concrete block which is the largest and the highest in the history of Malaysia’s construction. Decorated with 33,000 stainless steel sheets and 55,000 sheets of glass built as the Twin Towers that are outstanding in every angles. For someone  who loves to take photos, if you are at close distance, you will see the perspective of  buildings in full height  including the Skybridge (a view point of Kuala Lumpur City). And from a distance within KLCC Park, the corner of Jalan Ampang Road or nearby hotels, you will find many different perspectives of the beautiful buildings both day and night.

1. W Kuala Lumpur Hotel (Wet Deck)

           The W Kuala Lumper Hotel is a five-star hotel located in the center of Kuala Lumpur. Far from Kuala Lumpur International Airport is approximately 68 kilometers, from Pavillion Kuala Lumpur about 2 kilometers and from Petronas Twin Towers is just 350 meters. The W Kuala Lumper Hotel’s Wet Deck (outdoor swimming pool) is known as one of the best photo of the Twin Towers which you can see the reflection of the building on the water surface beautifully.

Recommended time : Both day and night

2. The front side of Petronas Twin Towers

           The front side of Petronas Twin Towers is a popular spot for tourists to take photos because it is the point where can see the building from the bottom to the full height and see the Skybridge which is a viewpoint of Kuala Lumpur city above too. In the evening, when the lights from Suria KLCC turned on, they will shine through between the blocks so it’s the perfect time.

3. The back side of Petronas Twin Towers (behind the fountain)

           Another highlighted spot to take photos of Petronas Twin Towers is the back side of it behind the fountain. Visitors can find a seat to watch the light and sound shows of the fountain on the Symphony Lake. At the back of the fountain, which is the walkway from KLCC Park, you will get a wide view of the fountain with the background of the Twin Towers surrounded by tall buildings with Suria KLCC in the center. Such a colorful and beautiful picture.

Recommended time : Times to show the light and sound of the fountain at 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm, and light show only at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm

Tip : To get a picture of the Twin Towers and the surrounding elements using a wide-angle lens and adjusting to night mode is a good option.

4. KLCC Park (on the bridge)

           If tourists walk from the back of KLCC Park, then make a stop on the bridge over the Symphony Lake, which is a perfect distance that is not too close and not too far from the Twin Towers. There will be another beautiful spot behind these remarkable buildings. With the composition of a 4-story Suria KLCC in the front and surrounded by tall buildings reflected on the lake is a beautiful scenery in the daytime.

Tip : If you want to take photos of the Twin Towers and the surrounding elements suggest to choose a wide-angle lens is a good choice.

5. KLCC Park (Swimming Pool)

           If you walk from KLCC Park, the southeast of the Petronas Twin Towers, until get to the swimming pool area that is far from the building. You’ll find another good spot for taking pictures of the Petronas Twin Towers. Especially, at twilight, the waterfall stairs at the pool will turn on the lights beautifully combined with  the Twin Towers at the back. This is a beautiful view that you should not miss.

Recommended time : At twilight various points in the park and the Twin Towers will light up. Visitors will see the colorful scenery of the park and buildings at the same time.

6. Jalan Ampang Road

           When leaving the W Kuala Lumper Hotel and go along the Jalan Ampang Road, before turning right onto Jalan P Ramlee Road. Visitors will find a beautiful spot of the Petronas Twin Towers at full height with the background of a changing sky. When combined with the street lights at night, this is a beautiful spot of the Twin Towers.

Recommended time : Evening to night

7. Traders Hotel (Sky Bar Floor 33)

           One of the best high-angles of Petronas Twin Towers is from the Sky Bar on the 33rd floor of the Traders Hotel, which has a bar, sofa by the window and pool chairs to have a seat. From here, the twin towers and surrounding elements can be seen, including the KLCC Park below  with the Twin Towers in the middle. It is a beautiful wide angle both day and night.

Recommended time : Day and night. Moreover, if you come during the New Year's countdown, you will see the fireworks clearly and beautifully from here.

Tip : To reserve a table at the window, which is the best viewpoint, must call to reserve in advance and there will be a charge to open the table which only the first 2 tables will not be charged. The booking methods will be in order.
